Halloween always gives us the chills. Both the good and the bad! While we love the spooky season vibes and all the fun it comes with, we also are very much aware of all the trash this day brings forth. Did you know that an average trick or treater ends up with at least a pound of trash each from all the candy and chocolate wrappers? Wrappers are essentially weightless so to accumulate a pound per person.. those are a lot of wrappers that ends up in our landfills each year! But don’t fret, we have better alternatives for you.

Either buy in bulk or support your local refill stations and pack all those treats in recycled paper bags or compostable bags or make the treat yourselves! Make it a fun family activity that you can all enjoy, plus you get to customize flavors, colors and what-not too.
